Honours

Sjón's The Blue Fox earned him the Nordic Council's Literature Prize, one of the most prestigious literary awards in the Nordic countries, and the Icelandic Literary Prize. He was also nominated for an Academy Award for Best Original Song, a rare honor for an Icelandic lyricist. His work has been translated into over 30 languages, and he was selected as the third contributor to the Future Library project, a century-spanning public artwork.
