Sinners

Sinners functions as the dual audio companion to Ryan Coogler's 2025 supernatural horror film. The release arrived on April 18, 2025, through Sony Masterworks and Sony Classical, splitting into two distinct volumes: the Sinners (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) and the Sinners (Original Motion Picture Score). This combined project spans 36 tracks and runs for 2 hours and 24 minutes without releasing any standalone singles prior to the full drop.

The soundtrack portion features 14 period-authentic songs performed by blues musicians and cast members, grounding the narrative in the 1932 Mississippi Delta. These tracks blend Delta blues, mid-century pop, and folk elements to match the film's setting. Ludwig Göransson composed the accompanying score, which contains 22 orchestral pieces utilizing dissonant motifs and expansive textures to amplify the supernatural dread central to the plot.

Critics have noted how the integration of music supports the film's exploration of race and history while maintaining the horror framework. In August 2026, the production team received a nomination for Best Production Design at the 3rd Annual MacGuffin Awards, competing alongside titles like Marty Supreme and One Battle After Another.
