Singapore Airlines, often referred to as SIA, is the flag carrier airline of Singapore. Its primary hub is located at Changi Airport, a major international transit point. The airline operates a substantial fleet comprising approximately 160 passenger and freighter aircraft, sourced from both Airbus and Boeing. SIA was among the first airlines to operate the Airbus A380, the world's largest passenger jet, and also introduced the Boeing 787-10 and the extra-long-range Airbus A350-900 to its services.

Since April 2000, Singapore Airlines has been an active member of the Star Alliance network, a global airline alliance. The airline is recognized for its consistent performance in global rankings, often placing among the top carriers worldwide by metrics such as revenue passenger kilometers and international passenger volume. The Singapore Airlines Group is a diversified entity, with more than 20 subsidiaries. These include SIA Engineering Company, which provides maintenance and repair services across nine countries, and Singapore Airlines Cargo, responsible for freight operations. The group also operates Scoot, a successful low-cost carrier, further broadening its market reach. A distinctive aspect of SIA's brand identity is the portrayal of the "Singapore Girl" in its marketing and service philosophy.

Singapore Airlines is widely acknowledged for its high standards of service. It has received the prestigious 5-star airline rating from Skytrax and has been named the World's Best Airline by the same organization on five occasions. The airline also frequently earns recognition in global business publications.
