AwardsWhile Simon Bird has been central to some of the most commercially successful British comedies of the 21st century, he has not won major individual acting awards. His accolades are primarily associated with the success of the ensembles he worked with. The Inbetweeners won the National Television Award for Best Comedy Series in 2009. The cast received a BAFTA TV Award nomination for Best Situation Comedy, though this was a series award. He has received recognition from the British Comedy Awards as part of the team.
