Sikandar Raza stands as a monumental figure in Zimbabwean cricket history, primarily for shattering the ceiling of what was considered possible for his nation in the shortest format of the game. His 2018 century against Bangladesh was not just a personal achievement but a watershed moment that changed perceptions of Zimbabwean batting power. By scoring a century at age 40 in 2026, he joined an elite group of players who have proven that experience and fitness can defy the natural decline associated with aging. His leadership as captain has kept Zimbabwe competitive in a volatile international landscape, earning him deep respect from peers and fans alike.
