Shiori Tamai

Shiori Tamai (玉井 詩織, Tamai Shiori; born June 4, 1995) is a Japanese singer who is a member of the girl group Momoiro Clover Z. As of December 2022, she was voice acting in the Nippon Television series Akumu-chan as a personage from the dreams of Keiko Kitagawa's character.[edit]

Shiori Tamai, known affectionately to her supporters as Shiorin, has cultivated a devoted following over more than a decade as an original member of the Momoiro Clover Z. Her journey from a child actor at age four to a seasoned performer in her thirties has created a narrative of longevity that resonates deeply with fans who have watched her evolve alongside the group. While the collective energy of the Momoiro Clover Z fandom is legendary for its organized chart pushes and vibrant culture, specific documentation of a formal name for Tamai's individual fanbase remains absent from public records; the fanbase has no formal name. The audience celebrates her distinct yellow image color and solo projects like the photo book *Tamayura*, yet no unique rituals or exclusive campaigns are widely attributed solely to her outside the broader group activities. Iconic moments tied to her persona include her memorable appearance in Pikotaro's "Vegetable" music video, where she playfully slapped the singer, and her role as a ghost in the anime *Layton Mystery Tanteisha*. Shiori Tamai began her career as a child actor before joining Stardust Promotion in 2008 as one of the founding members of Momoiro Clover Z. She is recognized by her nickname Shiorin and her official image color, Yellow. In February 2018, she gained international attention for appearing in Pikotaro's music video for "Vegetable," where she delivered a playful slap to the singer's buttocks. That same year, she contributed to the anime world by voicing ghosts in *Layton Mystery Tanteisha*. Her vocal talents were also showcased when the group performed the opening theme for *Chibi Maruko-chan* in August 2019. A significant moment in recent years occurred on October 10, 2021, when she tested positive for the novel coronavirus, leading to temporary activity adjustments for the group. Just days later, on October 11, she sustained an injury to her right index finger while participating in an event, highlighting the physical demands of her performances. As of September 2025, she is featured on the Ghibli tribute album *Ghibli wo Utau Sono 2*.
