Records
Shawn Chan's career is marked by a rare combination of commercial success and critical respect. He is one of the few artists to win both the Hong Kong Film Award for Best Actor and the Metro Radio Hits Best Male Singer award. His 2005 album Love's Symphony is among the best-selling Cantopop albums of the 2000s. Chan was inducted into the Hong Kong Walk of Stars in 2018 and received a Guinness World Record for most consecutive sold-out concerts at the Hong Kong Coliseum. In 2023, the Hong Kong Arts Development Council awarded him a Lifetime Achievement Award, and in 2024 he received an honorary doctorate from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts.
