Released on 11 January 2023, Shakira: Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53 is a collaboration between Argentine producer Bizarrap and Colombian singer Shakira, forming part of Bizarrap's ongoing series of one-off studio sessions. Recorded in Barcelona in August 2022, the track was written by Shakira, Keityn, Bizarrap, and Santiago Alvarado, with production handled entirely by Bizarrap. Its sound blends electropop and EDM, running for 3 minutes and 33 seconds.

The song functions as a pointed diss aimed at Shakira's former partner, footballer Gerard Piqué, following their highly publicized breakup. Its lyrics reference luxury brands like Ferrari and Rolex alongside cheaper counterparts such as Twingo and Casio, a contrast that reportedly affected real-world sales of those products. Shakira later stated that releasing the track brought her maximum relief, despite her manager's initial request to change the lyrics. The song's title phrase, Las mujeres ya no lloran, became the name of Shakira's twelfth studio album in 2024.

The song peaked at number one in 16 countries and became Bizarrap's first top-ten single on the US Billboard Hot 100, while marking Shakira's first all-Spanish top-ten since Beautiful Liar in 2007.
