Sex and the City

Darren Star brought Candace Bushnell's column to life on HBO, creating a series that redefined television for women in the late nineties. The show followed four single friends navigating their thirties in Manhattan while balancing careers and dating lives. Sarah Jessica Parker starred as Carrie Bradshaw, a newspaper columnist who wrote about love, while Kim Cattrall played the bold Samantha Jones, Cynthia Nixon portrayed the pragmatic Miranda Hobbes, and Kristin Davis embodied the romantic Charlotte York. Running from June 1998 to February 2004, the seven-season run produced 98 episodes of drama and comedy that resonated deeply with audiences.[edit]
