The Paper

Michael Koman and Greg Daniels bring their mockumentary expertise to Peacock with The Paper, a fresh comedy that shifts the camera from Scranton to Toledo. The series follows a documentary crew seeking a new story after wrapping up their time at Dunder Mifflin, eventually stumbling upon the struggling The Truth Teller newspaper. Domhnall Gleeson leads the cast as Ned Sampson, an eager publisher determined to save his family's historic paper, while Sabrina Impacciatore plays Esmeralda Grand, a sharp-witted editor ready to shake things up. Chelsea Frei, Melvin Gregg, Gbemisola Ikumelo, and Alex Edelman round out the ensemble of quirky staff members navigating the chaos of modern journalism. Running from September 2025 through September 2026, the two-season run delivered twenty episodes of humor set against the backdrop of the American Midwest. Audiences responded warmly to the show's blend of satire and heart, earning it a solid 7.1 rating based on over one hundred viewer votes.[edit]
