MEGALOBOX

Set in a gritty, dystopian future where the wealthy live in floating cities above a dusty slum, Megalobox reimagines the classic boxing manga Ashita no Joe with a cyberpunk twist. The series aired on TBS from April 2018 to June 2021 across two seasons and twenty-six episodes. Yoshimasa Hosoya voices the nameless protagonist known only as Joe, while Hiroki Yasumoto plays his rival Yuri. This action-drama blends shonen sports tropes with sci-fi elements to create a tense atmosphere that resonated with critics and fans alike, earning a solid rating of nearly eight out of ten.[edit]
