LazyTown arrived on Nick Jr. in August 2004 as a unique blend of live-action comedy and educational programming created by Icelandic gymnast Magnús Scheving. The series follows Stephanie, played by Chloe Lang, who moves to the town with her uncle, the Mayor. She quickly discovers that the residents prefer lounging over moving their bodies. Her mission involves teaching them that fresh food and exercise bring real joy.
