Jana Nayagan, translating to People's Hero, is a 2026 Indian Tamil-language political action thriller that marks a significant milestone as actor Vijay's final film before his full-time entry into politics. Directed by H. Vinoth and produced by KVN Productions, this is the banner's first Tamil venture. The film features Vijay alongside Pooja Hegde, Bobby Deol, Mamitha Baiju, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Prakash Raj, Narain, and Priyamani. Partially remaking the 2023 Telugu film Bhagavanth Kesari, Jana Nayagan follows a former police officer who mentors a young woman to join the Indian Army while taking on corrupt forces threatening democracy. The project was announced in September 2024 as Thalapathy 69, referencing Vijay's 69th lead role, with the official title revealed in January 2025.
