Dr. Vegas is an American television drama series that aired on CBS from September to October 2004. The show stars Rob Lowe as Dr. Billy Grant, a physician who works at the luxurious Desert Sky casino in Las Vegas. The supporting cast includes Veronica Harold (Sarah Lancaster), a sharp-witted casino host who becomes Dr. Grant's ally and occasional love interest, and Alice Doherty (Amy Adams), a naive but eager new hire at the casino. Tom Sizemore appears as Steve, a security chief with a rough edge, and Chazz Palminteri plays Vic, a casino executive with his own agenda. Each episode typically presents a new medical crisis: a poker player collapses mid-hand, a showgirl suffers a mysterious ailment, or a high-roller's secret health condition threatens to derail a major deal. The season builds toward a confrontation with a figure from his past who resurfaces with a dangerous proposal.
