Coven Academy

Tim Federle brings a fresh mix of mystery, comedy, and drama to Freeform with Coven Academy, a series that landed in the fall of 2026. The show follows Briar Roberts, played by Malina Weissman, as she navigates life at a magical boarding school in New Orleans while protecting her friends from an encroaching dark fate. Supporting her are Jake (Malachi Barton), Sasha (Jordan Leftwich), Tegan (Ora Duplass), Ollie (Louis Thresher), and their strict headmistress Miss Graves (Tiffani Thiessen). This single season of ten episodes premiered on October 1, 2026, and established a tone that balances teenage awkwardness with genuine supernatural stakes. Early reception suggests audiences appreciate the witty dialogue and the unique setting, earning the show a solid 7.3 out of 10 rating despite its short run so far.[edit]
