Adını Feriha Koydum launched on Show TV in January 2011, quickly becoming a cultural touchstone for Turkish drama. Created by Melis Civelek and Sırma Yanık under Med Yapım, the series blended classic rags-to-riches tropes with sharp social commentary. Hazal Kaya starred as Feriha Yilmaz, a spirited housekeeper who lands a scholarship at an elite university, while Vahide Perçin played her mother, Zehra. The show ran for two main seasons before shifting gears into a spin-off titled Adını Feriha Koydum: Emir'in Yolu later in 2012.
