The achievements of Savemoney are defined by their ability to break barriers for independent artists. They were the first mixtape to be nominated for Album of the Year at the Grammys, a feat accomplished by Coloring Book. Their success challenged the industry norm that major label backing was essential for high-level recognition. The group's members have consistently been ranked among the most influential figures in hip-hop, with Chance the Rapper appearing on TIME's list of 100 Most Influential People.

AwardsWhile the collective itself does not receive awards as a single entity, its members and associated projects have won numerous prestigious accolades. Most notably, Chance the Rapper won four Grammy Awards in 2017, including Best New Artist and Best Gospel Album for Coloring Book. Other wins include the Billboard Music Award for Top New Artist and the BET Award for Best New Artist, all highlighting the collective's massive impact on the industry.
