Santiago Castro

Castro's record at 22 is thin in the way that young footballers' records usually are: no trophies, no individual honours, and a career that has only recently moved to a club of Roma's size. What stands out is the speed of the step up. He went from a Bologna forward in the 2025/26 season to a Roma No. 9 in a Champions League campaign within a single summer, and he scored on his first start for the club in October 2026. The Argentina call-up reported for March 2024 places him in the national pool early. None of this amounts to a decorated career yet, and the honest assessment is that his accolades are still ahead of him.
