Sanji

Sanji was born Vinsmoke Sanji, the third son of Vinsmoke Judge, king of the Germa Kingdom. Judge, a brilliant scientist, sought to create a perfect army of super-soldiers through genetic engineering. He experimented on his own five children, stripping them of emotion and granting them superhuman abilities. Sanji's mother, Sora, opposed this and secretly took a drug that would counteract the modifications. The drug worked on Sanji alone, leaving him with normal human abilities and the capacity for emotion. Judge considered Sanji a failure and imprisoned him in a dungeon, where he was tortured by his siblings. Eventually, Sanji escaped with the help of his sister Reiju and ended up on a cruise ship, which was attacked by pirates. He was rescued by Zeff, a pirate chef, and the two were stranded on a rock for 85 days. Zeff sacrificed his own leg to feed Sanji, an act that deeply shaped Sanji's values.
