RZA's influence on hip-hop production is immeasurable. Rolling Stone placed him at #4 on its list of the 100 greatest hip-hop producers, and #18 on its list of the 100 greatest songwriters. The Source and Vibe both named him among the greatest producers in the genre's history. In 2023, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of the Wu-Tang Clan, a recognition of the group's enduring impact. His Kill Bill scores brought cinematic sampling to a mainstream audience and remain among the most iconic film music of the 2000s.
