Seacrest's career is marked by an extraordinary run of sustained success across multiple platforms. He hosted American Idol for 15 consecutive seasons, a Guinness World Record for the longest continuous run as host of a reality competition series. His production company, Ryan Seacrest Productions, was behind Keeping Up with the Kardashians, one of the most profitable reality franchises in television history. He has been named to Forbes' highest-paid TV hosts list for nearly a decade, often at number one, and in 2010 TIME named him one of the 100 Most Influential People. His transition to Wheel of Fortune in 2024 was one of the most anticipated hosting changes in game show history, and the show's ratings held strong under his tenure.
