Ryan Giggs's career is defined by unprecedented longevity and consistency at the highest level. He holds the record for the most Premier League titles won by a player (13) and the most assists in Premier League history (162). He is the only player to have scored in every season of the Premier League from its inception in 1992 until his retirement in 2014. Giggs was inducted into the English Football Hall of Fame in 2012 and the Welsh Sports Hall of Fame in 2015. He was appointed OBE in 2007. His 1999 FA Cup semi-final goal against Arsenal is widely considered one of the greatest in the competition's history. Giggs's ability to reinvent his game as he aged, transitioning from a flying winger to a central midfielder, set him apart from his peers.
