Records
Ryan Coogler's achievements place him among the most celebrated filmmakers of his generation. He is the first Black director to have a film gross over $1 billion worldwide, a record set with Black Panther. His 2025 film Sinners earned him an unprecedented sweep of major awards, including an Oscar, BAFTA, Golden Globe, and Grammy.
