Bertrand's career is defined by one extraordinary achievement: he is the only player in UEFA Champions League history to make his debut in the competition in the final, and he won it. That 2012 final start against Bayern Munich remains a unique piece of football trivia. He also won the Europa League and FA Cup with Chelsea, and represented Great Britain at the 2012 London Olympics. While he never became a star, his place in the sport's record books is secure.
