Running Point

Mindy Kaling, Ike Barinholtz, David Stassen, and Elaine Ko bring their signature blend of sharp wit and heart to Running Point, a comedy series that landed on Netflix in late February 2025. The show stars Kate Hudson as Isla Gordon, a woman who traded her wild party days for corporate ambition only to find herself thrust into the chaotic world of professional sports. When she unexpectedly inherits control of her family's failing basketball franchise, she must navigate locker room politics, demanding owners, and her own complicated history with the game. Drew Tarver plays her brother Sandy, while Scott MacArthur steps in as Ness, rounding out the core family dynamic that drives the narrative forward.[edit]
