Rosalie Thomass

Thomass's trophy shelf is modest by design. She has one major win, the Bavarian Film Award for Beste Chance, but her real achievement is longevity. More than 30 films and 40 television productions over two decades is a record few German actors can match. She has worked with directors including Doris Dörrie and Marcus H. Rosenmüller, and her films have reached audiences beyond the arthouse circuit, with Die Wolke becoming a classroom fixture. That kind of reach does not show up in awards counts.
