Risk It All

Bruno Mars opens his 2026 album The Romantic with a sweeping love ballad that finds the pop superstar at his most vulnerable. Released on February 27, 2026, via Atlantic Records, the track arrived as the second single from the record following the lead single. The song's lyrics are a straightforward declaration where Mars sings that he would gamble everything, his career, his reputation, and his very life for the chance to be with the person he loves.

The production blends vintage soul instrumentation with a modern pop sheen. A lush string section swells beneath Mars's signature falsetto while a steady Motown-inspired beat keeps the track grounded. Critics praised the song's emotional directness noting it showcases a more mature side of the artist.

A Spanish-language version titled "Lo Arriesgo Todo" dropped on May 8, 2026. This bilingual approach continued when a 7-inch vinyl single released on May 22, 2026 featured the Spanish track as the A-side and the English original as the B-side. [edit]
