Records
Derringer's career was marked by three Grammy wins and a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction with the McCoys in 2023. His production work on Weird Al Yankovic's parodies earned back-to-back Grammys, and his instrumental track "Cajun Moon" won a third. He was also inducted into the Ohio Music Hall of Fame in 2008. His song "Hang On Sloopy" was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2013.
