Records
Sambora's guitar work on Bon Jovi's multi-platinum albums defined the sound of 1980s arena rock. Rolling Stone ranked him among the 100 greatest guitarists of all time in three separate lists (1996, 2003, 2011). Guitar World named him the best guitarist of the 1980s in 2006. His songwriting partnership with Jon Bon Jovi produced some of the most enduring rock anthems, earning him a Grammy and a spot in the Songwriters Hall of Fame. His solo work, though less commercially successful, showcased his blues-rock roots and earned respect from critics.
