Retta

Marietta Sangai Sirleaf arrived in Newark on April 12, 1970, eventually adopting the stage name Retta to build a career as both a comedian and actress. Her path took her from local clubs to national stages, including a spot on Comedy Central's Premium Blend. This early work established her sharp comedic voice before she transitioned into acting roles that would define her public image for years.[edit]
