Records
Renato Gaúcho is one of the most decorated figures in Brazilian football. He is the only Brazilian to win the Copa Libertadores as both a player and a coach. His 1983 Intercontinental Cup victory with Grêmio made him a national hero. The 1995 belly goal and the Rei do Rio title are legendary. As a coach, his 2017 Libertadores win cemented his legacy. He is widely regarded as the greatest idol in Grêmio's history.
