Rebeca Andrade's medal haul places her in the pantheon of gymnastics greats. She is the most decorated Brazilian Olympian ever, with six Olympic medals, and the most decorated Latin American gymnast in history. Her nine World Championship medals include a historic all-around title in 2022, making her the first Brazilian woman to achieve that feat. What sets Andrade apart is her longevity and resilience. She has medaled in every event at the World Championships, a rare accomplishment shared by only a handful of women. Her ability to come back from three ACL tears and still win Olympic gold on floor in 2024, defeating Simone Biles in the process, speaks to her extraordinary determination and skill.
