Raúl Jiménez's career is marked by historic achievements. He holds the Guinness World Record for most goals by a Mexican player in a single Premier League season (17 in 2019–20). He is joint second on Mexico's all-time scoring list with 46 goals. His return from a fractured skull to play at the highest level is considered one of football's great comebacks. He has won two CONCACAF Gold Cups and an Olympic gold medal, and has been named to the Gold Cup Best XI.
