Ran to Atlanta

May 15, 2026 marked the arrival of "Ran to Atlanta" as the fifth track on Drake's tenth studio album Iceman. The single brings together Canadian rapper Drake and American artist Future for their first official collaboration since 2022. This reunion follows a period of estrangement stemming from the high-profile 2024 feud between Drake and Kendrick Lamar, during which Future supported Lamar. Signs of reconciliation appeared in April 2026 when Future was photographed wearing Nike Nocta apparel, a brand owned by Drake.

The track features rising rapper Molly Santana, whose appearance represents her most significant career placement to date. Lyrically, the song navigates the complex landscape of modern hip-hop rivalries while celebrating the restored partnership between its two lead artists. Critics identified the production as a driving force behind the song's energy, labeling it the club anthem of the Iceman project.

Commercially, the release achieved immediate traction on digital platforms. It climbed to number one on the US Apple Music chart, securing Molly Santana her first top-tier position on that specific service. While industry projections suggested a potential debut at number one on the Billboard Hot 100, the track ultimately settled at number two. This result added to Drake's unique chart history, marking his thirteenth song to finish at the runner-up spot. [edit]
