The Ramones are one of the most celebrated punk bands in history. Rolling Stone ranked them number 26 on its list of the 100 Greatest Artists of All Time. Spin magazine placed them second only to the Beatles on its 50 Greatest Bands list. The band's debut album Ramones is included in the Grammy Hall of Fame and ranked among Rolling Stone's 500 Greatest Albums. Their song I Wanna Be Sedated landed at number 155 on Rolling Stone's 500 Greatest Songs list. The Ramones' influence on punk and rock music is immeasurable, and their legacy continues to grow decades after their final show.
