Rezaeian is celebrated in Iranian football as one of the finest fullbacks of his generation. His explosive pace and attacking contributions have made him a standout player in the Persian Gulf Pro League. He has represented Iran in two World Cups and two Asian Cup semi-finals, earning respect for his longevity and consistency at the highest level. His ability to play both defense and attack has made him a versatile asset for every team he has played for.

AwardsRezaeian's major honours are team-based. He won the Hazfi Cup twice: once with Persepolis in 2014-15 and once with Esteghlal in 2017-18. He also won the Iranian Super Cup with Esteghlal in 2022. He reached the AFC Asian Cup semi-finals with Iran in 2019 and 2023, and played in the FIFA World Cup in 2018 and 2022.
