Raindance

British rapper Dave and Nigerian singer Tems joined forces for Raindance, a moody track that fuses UK grime with Afrobeats textures. Released on October 23, 2025, the song served as the fifth cut from Dave's third studio album, The Boy Who Played the Harp. Neighbourhood Recordings issued the project the following day, and the collaboration stood out immediately for its atmospheric production and cross-continental appeal.

Dave co-wrote the track alongside Tems, who also stepped into a production role to shape the sonic landscape. They worked alongside Jo Caleb, Johnny Lesile, Kyle Evans, and Jim Legxacy to create a soundscape that balances rhythmic rap verses with emotive vocal melodies. The resulting blend of genres created an intimate yet expansive feel that resonated quickly with listeners across Europe and Oceania.

By early 2026, Raindance had climbed into the top ten in Australia, Austria, Germany, and Sweden. A major milestone arrived in January 2026 when the single reached number one on the UK Singles Chart. This achievement marked Dave's fourth chart-topping hit and became Tems' first number-one record. EMI Records subsequently pushed the song to Italian radio stations later that month, establishing it as the sole official single drawn from the album. [edit]
