The track was written by the two singers alongside BloodPop, Matthew Burns, Nija Charles, Rami Yacoub, Tchami, and Boys Noize, with production handled by BloodPop and Burns. The bassline reinterprets the 1979 disco track "All This Love That I'm Givin'" by Gwen McRae, which earned a posthumous songwriting credit for Betty Wright.
