Rafael Devers has achieved several notable firsts in Red Sox history. In 2019, he became the youngest player in franchise history to record a 200-hit season, at age 22. He set Red Sox single-season records for a third baseman in home runs, doubles, extra-base hits, and total bases. He is the only player in Red Sox history to lead the team outright in RBI for five consecutive seasons (2020-2024). He also joined Alex Rodriguez as the only players ever with 30 home runs and 50 doubles in a season before turning 23.
