R. Kelly's achievements in music are genuinely historic. He sold over 75 million records worldwide, making him one of the best-selling artists of all time. Billboard ranked him the 9th greatest R&B artist ever. His song "I Believe I Can Fly" won three Grammys and became a global anthem. He wrote and produced Michael Jackson's "You Are Not Alone," the first song ever to debut at number one on the Billboard Hot 100. His duet with Celine Dion, "I'm Your Angel," also debuted at number one. He held the record for most number-one singles on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart with 11. These feats, however, are now overshadowed by his criminal convictions.
