Acy's college career at Baylor was marked by defensive excellence and energy off the bench. He remains one of the few players to win the Big 12 Sixth Man Award and earn unanimous all-defensive honors. His seven-season NBA tenure, though not star-studded, showcased durability and adaptability across six franchises. As a coach, he brings that same work ethic to developing players.

AwardsAcy won several collegiate honors at Baylor, including the Big 12 Sixth Man Award in 2011 and unanimous Big 12 All-Defensive selection in 2012. He was also named to the Big 12 All-Freshman Team and the NCAA South Regional All-Tournament Team. He did not win any NBA-level individual awards.
