Queen of Tears

A marriage built on wealth and power faces its first real crack when the heir to a supermarket empire marries the CEO of a department store. Kim Soo-hyun plays Baek Hyun-woo, the sharp-tongued son who runs his family business with an iron fist, while Kim Ji-won portrays Hong Hae-in, the icy executive who commands her retail kingdom without blinking. Park Ji-eun crafted this story for tvN, blending dark comedy with genuine slice-of-life drama to explore how two stubborn people navigate intimacy after the honeymoon phase fades. The series ran from March 9 to April 28, 2024, delivering eighteen episodes across two seasons that kept viewers hooked with its mix of high-stakes corporate battles and domestic squabbles.[edit]
