Press Play (Lisa EP)

Thai rapper and singer Lisa returns with Press Play, her debut extended play scheduled to drop on October 23, 2026. This six-track project arrives two years after her 2024 full-length album Alter Ego and marks a distinct evolution in her solo sound. Produced by Lloud Co. in partnership with RCA Records, the EP fuses aggressive hip-hop flows with vibrant pop melodies while weaving in elements of R&B. The record serves as a celebration of her Thai heritage and personal independence, moving beyond the group dynamic to showcase a more mature artistic identity.

The promotional campaign kicked off in late September 2026 with the release of the lead single "SaWaDiKa," a track that immediately signals a connection to her roots through its traditional greeting title. A second single titled "Tarantino" followed in mid-October, teasing a cinematic production style inspired by the filmmaker Quentin Tarantino. Before the official launch, Lisa hosted virtual listening parties for fans, building significant momentum across social media platforms. The project is available in digital formats alongside exclusive physical editions like an ultra-clear vinyl set packaged with a large poster.

Guest appearances add layers to the sonic landscape, with Doja Cat and RAYE featured on specific tracks within the EP. While initial reports hinted at a five-song lineup, the final tracklist confirmed six songs ranging from the high-energy rap anthem "Rockstar" to the melodic closer "New Beginnings." Critics have noted how Lisa balances her signature sharp verses with catchy hooks, creating a cohesive narrative that honors her global appeal without losing her cultural grounding. [edit]
