Prabhu Deva's dance and directorial achievements have set benchmarks in Indian cinema. His two National Film Awards place him among the most celebrated choreographers in the country. AwardsPrabhu Deva has won two National Film Awards for Best Choreography, for Kadhalan (1994) and Minsara Kanavu (1997). He has also received multiple Filmfare Awards South, including Best Director for Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana, as well as IIFA and Zee Cine Awards for his choreography.
