Pierre Marcel Poilievre (born June 3, 1979) is a Canadian politician who has led the Conservative Party and served as leader of the Official Opposition since 2022. He first won a seat in Parliament in 2004, representing the riding of Nepean, Carleton, later reconfigured as Carleton, until his surprising defeat in April 2025.
