Phil Collins is one of only three recording artists (along with Paul McCartney and Michael Jackson) to sell over 100 million records both as a solo artist and as a principal member of a band. He holds the record for the most US top-40 singles of any artist in the 1980s. His eight Grammy wins span Album of the Year, Record of the Year, and multiple performance and production categories. He is the only artist to have performed at both Live Aid concerts in 1985. His induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice — as a member of Genesis (2010) and as a solo artist (2026) — places him in an elite group of musicians recognized for both group and individual achievements.
