Peter Maivia's greatest achievement is his role as a pioneer for Pacific Islander wrestlers. He was one of the first Samoans to win a major title in the WWWF and his "High Chief" persona remains iconic. His blood brother pact with the Anoa'i family made him a cornerstone of wrestling's most famous dynasty, and his adopted grandson Dwayne Johnson has carried his legacy to global superstardom.
