Peter Kadiru's amateur career was exceptional. He won a gold medal at the 2014 Youth Olympic Games, becoming one of the few German boxers to achieve that feat. He also won back-to-back European Youth Championships in 2014 and 2015, a rare double. His silver medal at the 2014 Youth World Championships further demonstrated his international caliber. In the professional ranks, he captured the German heavyweight title and scored a signature win over former world champion Victor Emilio Ramírez.
