Paolo Maldini's career is defined by unmatched longevity and loyalty. He is one of only a handful of players to make over 1,000 senior appearances, all for AC Milan. His five Champions League titles place him among the most decorated players in the competition's history. He was the first defender to finish second in FIFA World Player of the Year voting and the first to win World Soccer's Player of the Year award.
