Records

Pandelela Rinong's record is remarkable for its consistency and historical significance. She is the first Malaysian woman to win an Olympic medal in a sport other than badminton, and one of only two Malaysians to win medals at two different Olympics. Her seven World Championships medals place her among the elite divers of her generation. Beyond the medals, her longevity in a physically demanding sport and her role as a mentor to younger divers set her apart.
